That's Popcorn, Peanuts, Soda Water & Chewing Gum. Like my faith journey and life – a little bit of everything and jumbled sometimes.

So, the other day

When I did the post on Bottle Top Tunes, I didn’t have any of the bottles I would have needed for a photo-op.  In that post, I forgot to mention why I chose to use my little red leggy table as a photo-op.  It’s probably readily apparent, since it has mom’s hand drawn and painted Cola bottle on it.  Of course, the popcorn and bubble gum had to be included! You know, my blog title.

So, today at the grocery store, I figured, why not just snap a photo of some bottles?  I would have gladly rearranged them and thought about at least turning all the labels forward or something. But, I settled for taking the photo as they were.  I can only imagine what someone might have said.  I figure the usual “what in the world is she doing?” might have been replaced by “oh, she’s a blogger” as if everyone blogs (?).

Of course, I had to play with the picture a bit, just out of curiosity, something of the 60′s and 70′s kid in me just had to do it.  So, to the “Reflection Effects” I went . . .

The “rotating mirror” effect. Uh, So-so.

The “pattern” effect. I wondered where the Coke bottles went in this function. Probably some setting I needed to change but I didn’t find it.

The “feedback” effect. With some tweaking of settings. Hm.  Okay. Maybe.

The “kaleidoscope” effect. Still my absolute favorite reflection effect.

Blogging.  Sometimes much ado about nuthin‘.  Huh?!  Did you know that my husband didn’t even react?  He just kept on shopping, picked up some Ginger Ale and Cokes, never said a word to me about it.  I think he’s pretty much use to it now.

MMMMM. A refreshing thought. I thought about buying one of those for this very hot day here in Central Texas. MMMMMM.  Would’ve been a thirst quencher I’m sure.

We’ve been in the triple-digits again lately.   I hear it rained south of us.  Sure could use some rain here.

Sorry, I just had to , just cuz.

Nice effects, Jenn. It’s always fun to play with pictures, and just see what turns out.

We did get some rain here south of Houston, and it looks like it may do a little today, too. May the rain glisten on your yard today.

    Blessings,
    Marianne

We’re getting rain today! Yeah! It’s rained pretty good for starters…more than glistening and I love it!

      Thanks!
