Pink Saturday: Light-Shadow-Pink-Green-Yellow

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The little yellow flowers really did catch my attention the other day.  I wish these were in my yard, but they are not.  They’re in the flower bed of a local medical professional building.  I started to post them immediately and then, I thought, wait, there are pinks in there for Pink Saturday and Yellows for Beverly. I always love to find a little yellow for Beverly – had a great reason to do so last Saturday.  Hope your birthday was extra-special Beverly.

And, I found a way to keep track of blogs I’ve visited so I may mention them in my Pink Saturday posts!  Woo-hoo!

I saw this  Flower Bed: Monarch butterfly.   Stunningly beautiful.  The polka dots are awesome and the wings beautiful.  Plus, I wanted to keep this recipe in mind from Sweet Pea in the Kitchen: Pork Chops with Cherry Salsa.

Notes to self and those who might be interested:

I’m thinking these little yellow flowers just might be the Sundrops in Slide 3 that caught my eye a few weeks ago in Country Living’s Drought Tolerant PerennialsI want some.  But in the meantime, I used my photos for my blog header/background.

I used the Press This feature of WordPress to hold the websites in a draft document.  The one thing I need to change?  Label the post with Pink Saturday so I can find them easier.  I have a lot of drafts in my draft folder!

Time to post and link up with Beverly!

Happy Pink Saturday!

We don’t see many caladiums around here. It may be too windy for them and too dry. You did take some very lovely pictures!♥♫

    HI Jenn!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog for Pink Saturday and the wonderful post. In answer to your questions: an ATC stands for Artist Trading Card and they are traded – google it and find out about this wonderful art form. No, the Stampaway convention is tomorrow – Saturday 9 – 5 – but since I’ve posted this for Pink SATURDAY I was referring to what will be going on tomorrow. And yes, I will be taking a lot of photos and will definitely post about the show! So please stop by again tomorrow or Sunday for an update! Hope you have a fun Pink weekend!
