Hi there! That’s my Pink Saturday in the gallery again. You can just browse over the pinks as is, or click on the first photo to get the story. It’s fairly short but sweet, at least I think that.
I’ve had the Mary Engelbreit paper doll for a long time and don’t remember how I came by having it. I thought she fit just fine in my altered book. I think she’s my favorite two pages so far. My altered book itself is giving me some grief. It’s expanding (won’t come near to closing) and I have a ton of pages left in that book. I picked a big book, with lots of pages. I still have to learn about the glue gun. I had to alter the photos for the story – and that’s why there are two shots of the open book scene (props and drops), one is fixed the other is not. The Grandma snow woman’s hat and purse are from my maternal grandmother’s costume jewelry (that I use to browse through all the time!).
I enjoyed everyone’s visits last Saturday – thank you. I enjoyed my visits too, and was especially blessed by Bess with her beautiful pink blog, My Cottage Diary, and her wonderful Pink Saturday Post.
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you’ll visit our great hostess, Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. There you’ll find a bunch of us who have joined Beverly for this week’s Pink Saturday! ♥Thank you, Beverly!♥
One of my the “props” was my trusty hammer, yet again. Click on the photo of my hammer for the If I had a hammer post.
